Lake Run Club Board Meeting

Attendees: Jessica Gieson, Cathie Haab, Mitch Hobbs, Bob King, Vicki King, Bob Lambert, Kevin McCarthy, Rebecca Payne, Tim Rood, Jill Usiak
Membership (Julie Howell): New members joining after September 1 will receive membership through 2012.
Newsletter (Vicki & Bob King): The on-line newsletter has received 489 page views. Newsletter will be posted to LRC Face Book page. Check-out on-line newsletter for club and member updates.
Treasurer (Bob Lambert): 2012 race budgets will be discussed with LRC race directors.
Billing/Advertising (Cathie Haab): Cathie expressed enjoying her time as Billing/Advertising coordinator. Christa Staley will assume position in 2012.
Volunteer Committee (Jill Usiak): Jill will step down at the end of the 2011 race season and is seeking a replacement! The Volunteer Coordinator position is a fun position & allows meeting a LOT of people in the club & community. This is an LRC board position & takes the lead of the Volunteer Committee. Throughout the year the coordinator works with race directors who request our finish line & results services. This position requires good communication, computer skills & general knowledge of how the club operates. New Business:
· Finish Line Software – Finish line services have been impacted due to software issues likely due to outdated equipment/software. Kevin will research need for new equipment.
· Park to Park – Race director position will be filled by LRC board members.
· LRC site redesign – LRC site currently consists of three separate sites. Mitch will send contact for Starved Rock Runners Club website developer to Kevin. Bob Lambert will also send web development contacts to Kevin. Kevin and Tim will review LRC web needs and options.
· Winter Break Clinic – Mitch is continuing to develop a clinic for junior high and high school students.
